I am drawn to photography by the unexpected opportunities it gives me to capture memorable images and events. My work covers diverse fields such as art, landscapes, advertising, portraiture and special days such as weddings, birthdays and christenings.

My approach is characterised by developing an easy rapport with my subjects. I use a relaxed atmosphere which ensues to generate creative ideas. I pursue both naturalistic and contrived styles of photography, according to circumstances, inspiration and clients’ wishes. In portraiture I like to capture people in a candid, unguarded way. I enjoy the exploration of perspective and the production of images which sometimes challenge people’s expectations.

I’m based in Crickhowell, a small, beautiful town in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It’s about 40 miles north of Cardiff and could well be responsible for my interest in landscapes. I’m prepared to work in the UK or abroad.
